Blumhardt's Literature Salon
In cooperation with the German Literature Archive, the Evangelische Akademie Bad Boll (Bad Boll Protestant Academy) has set up a literary memorial site in its Villa Vopelius. With portraits, autographs and books the literary memorial site illustrates the era when Bad Boll was a Protestant centre for physical and mental pastoral care. From 1852 to 1919 Johann Christoph Blumhardt and his son Christoph carried out their ministry of evangelism and healing in the spa's Kurhaus building. The Literature Salon is open all day and admission is free.
