Fire Brigade Museum Winnenden

The Fire Brigade Museum in Winnenden is a recognised special attraction in the Stuttgart Region and is certified by the International Technical Committee for the Prevention and Extinction of Fire (CTIF) as a classified European fire brigade museum. Exhibits include firefighting equipment such as leather buckets, simple water squirts and hand pumps, alarm devices, vintage firefighting vehicles, uniforms and decorations, and a large collection of fire helmets from Germany and abroad.

The museum is located in the former goods depot dating from 1875.

Insider tip: Every Sunday at 11:00 am there's a guided tour of the exhibition with an expert guide at no extra charge.

Opening hours

Saturday - Sunday (except public holidays):
10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Group tours are available outside normal opening hours by prior arrangement.
Expert guide provided on request.
