Gerlingen Municipal Museum
The Municipal Museum is a place of memories and of learning from the past. Nevertheless, its light-hearted atmosphere is not intended to dull the awareness of the daily destruction of a livable environment. Important themes of our culture are vividly illustrated. The Museum of the Germans from Hungary is a department of Gerlingen's Municipal Museum. Sponsored by the town of Gerlingen, since 1969 it has kept alive the cultural heritage of Germans from Hungary. In addition to national costumes, there are also household effects on display. To commemorate the work of Gerlingen's missionaries all over the world, and also of women missionary workers, the Missionarsstube in the Rebmannhaus was founded as a place of remembrance and encounter.
