Herrenberg Bell Museum
A medieval spiral staircase leads up the church tower to a cultural gem: in the tower of Herrenberg's Collegiate Church the Bell Museum houses the most extensive collection of bells in Germany, comprising more than 30 bells from 12 centuries and many different regions. In addition to Herrenberg's own historical bells, the collection also has unique gems from many German-speaking areas, including eight bells on loan from the former German Eastern Territories. There is also a replica of the oldest bell in Germany, the Haithabu Bell.
